About Us

Committed to Excellence and Exceeding Expectations

Our fine millwork and custom cabinetry shop was established in 1995 by David Thorngate in Newark, Delaware. We dedicate ourselves to working closely with our clients so they are satisfied with the quality of their product.

No project is too big nor too small. Our skilled staff specialize in all areas of woodwork from pens with small intricate details to the renovation of large historic sites. We also specialize in creating, matching, and repairing antique projects. We have made everything from kitchens, offices, libraries, and wine cellars to doors, windows and any other type of custom cabinetry imaginable.

We were awarded the Paladio Special Award in 2007 for our Hobbit House Window, which was also featured on the back cover of the Fine Homebuilding Magazine. We have also renovated the entire first floor of the historic Lombardy Hall in Wilmington, Delaware.
